Feed Overview
The Feed is your content inbox — the first place new items land when FeedKiwi checks your sources.
How It Works
- Update your feed: Click “Update Feed” to check all sources for new content
- Review items: New items appear in reverse chronological order
- Triage: For each item, decide to Queue it, Shelf it, or Dismiss it
Feed Layout
Each item in your feed shows:
- Thumbnail (for videos and podcasts with artwork)
- Title of the content
- Source name and type icon
- Duration (adjusted for your playback speed)
- Published date
- Tags inherited from the source
- Action buttons to queue, shelf, or dismiss
Filtering Your Feed
Use the filter panel at the top to narrow your feed by:
- Content type: Videos, podcasts, articles, etc.
- Tags: Show only items with specific tags
- Source: Filter by a specific source
Starred Items First
Items from starred sources appear at the top of your feed, making it easy to see content from your favorite sources first.
Feed Update History
FeedKiwi keeps a history of your feed updates. You can see:
- When each update happened
- How many new items were found
- Which sources had new content
- Any errors that occurred during the update
Access this from the Feed History page.
