Navigating the App

FeedKiwi has a clean, focused interface designed for both desktop and mobile.

The left sidebar is your main navigation hub:

  • Feed — Your content inbox with new items (shows unread count)
  • Queue — Items you plan to consume (shows item count)
  • Backlog — Saved items for later (shows total count)
  • Sources — Manage your content sources
  • Stats — View consumption analytics
  • Settings — Customize your experience

Below the navigation you’ll find:

  • Goals — Your daily tag goals and progress bars
  • Today’s Stats — Items completed and added today
  • Send Feedback — Report bugs or suggest features

Mobile Navigation

On mobile devices, the sidebar is hidden by default. Tap the hamburger menu icon in the top-left corner to open it as a slide-out panel.

Header Bar

Each page has a header with:

  • Page title and description
  • Action buttons specific to that page (e.g., “Update Feed” on the Feed page)
  • Filter controls where applicable

KiwiAI Chat

The floating chat button in the bottom-right corner opens KiwiAI, your AI assistant. It can help you:

  • Search your content
  • Move items between Feed, Queue, and Shelf
  • Answer questions about FeedKiwi features
  • Generate daily digests

Keyboard Shortcuts

FeedKiwi supports keyboard navigation for power users. Use Tab to move between elements and Enter/Space to activate buttons.
