Theme Customization

FeedKiwi offers several ways to customize its appearance.

Feed Theme

Choose between two feed display styles:

• Standard: Clean, modern card layout
• Terminal: A retro terminal-inspired aesthetic

Switch themes in Settings > Appearance.

Kiwi Primary Color

When enabled, your active Kiwi Skin’s color becomes the app’s primary accent color:

• Buttons, links, and highlights use the skin’s color
• Each skin can have a custom color override
• Toggle this in Settings > Appearance

Thumbnail Options

Customize how thumbnails display:

• Enlarge on focus: Thumbnails expand when you hover/focus on an item
• Dual border mode: Adds a distinctive double-border effect to thumbnails

Dark Mode

FeedKiwi follows your system’s dark/light mode preference automatically.

Design Philosophy

FeedKiwi uses a token-based design system:

• Colors, spacing, and typography are defined as design tokens
• Theming is consistent across the entire app
• All customizations respect accessibility guidelines
